Level 1 Helpdesk Administrator
Due to our continued growth, we are currently recruiting a Level 1 Helpdesk Administrator to join our Corporate Services team in Adelaide, SA.
Corporate Services
Supporting our technical delivery teams is our Corporate Services division; the oil in the QinetiQ machine. Together our corporate services team enable our people to continue to deliver great work to our clients.
As Level 1 Helpdesk Administrator , you will be responsible for:
Building and maintaining knowledge based articles and self-help documentation in QinetiQ knowledge management system
Following up any outstanding incidents with timely resolution
Providing support to the procurement and setup of new IT equipment, i.e. installation of new software or network systems
Management of Level 1 Telecommunications (Mobile & Desk Phones) and Hardware Assets
To be successful in this role, you will bring with you:
A tertiary qualification in Information Technology (desirable)
Minimum 2 years' work experience (working in a Helpdesk environment advantageous)
The ability to work in a high pressure environment and balance competing priorities
Strong IT technical skills and knowledge
Strong documentation skills
Strong written and oral communication, i.e. ability to explain complex and technical information in user friendly language
Excellent interpersonal skills and builds rapport across all levels of the business
The ability to work effectively as part of a small team
Candidates will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
